Christmas Window Chaos!
Many of you may have already figured out that well me and Twitch are total Type A personalities! So when we heard that there was going to be a competition for the best Christmas windows you can imagine our excitement! I mean HELLO! This was like finding a pair of Coach boots under your tree!
So of course we had to work on a plan! And we have it! You see our windows are going to be of the theme It's a Snowing and a Blowing! Genius right?
Now due to our Type A issue you know that just throwing up some garland, and a few twinkle lights was well just not going to happen:) Because nothing says Christmas like snowflake mobiles! And that is what we sent out to create, believe it or not they don't just make those! I know, the injustice of it all really!
We of course had to inform Miss Ryan that these windows would take us two to three days a piece to create, because we really want to make them look like it is a snowing and a blowing! So with unlimited amounts of wire, silver twigs, snowflakes, and pine bows we may very well have this whole theme going!
So we are crossing fingers, and paws that our vision will be met, and that it will be seen in all its amazing glory! Wish us luck! And we will post our pic's as soon as we get them finished :)

Thanks for the Well Wishes!
Just a little note to say Thank You! On November 11th Miss Amber was in a car accident. Though the car was demolished she was well Amber. She was hurt, but what we love about her is that even at the scene of an accident she was more worried about the other people involved! Now after the great emergency response team and police got there her humor and nerves took over.
From cracking jokes about her hair, and how she really hadn't planned on going to the hospital via ambulance it was good to know she was able to keep everyone laughing. Though the accident scared the beejeezuz out of her, she still had spunk! From begging the ER nurses not to cut her Vault Jeans, and her Resistol Biker Jacket, to making wise cracks about how the neck brace really didn't match the look she was going for that day.
She lucked out and came out with a severely bruised femur, cut up face, bruises, and a sore sore back and neck. We are very blessed she was o.k. and that none of her babies were with her. In true Siren's form both Ryan and Christine were right there to make sure she was taken care of, by covering shifts, coming by the house to see her and watching the Lil guy for Miss Amber they were the best!
Thank you to all of you that called and asked how Miss Amber was doing, and for the messages they were all greatly appreciated!

What is a Siren?
I have had countless inquiries on what exactly is a Siren? Well the best way for you to understand what we are is to know a little about each of us.
Ryan is the founding Siren. She is a great girl that was raised with love, christian morals, and a cowgirl up bringing. She was raised to always be strong, knowledgeable, and to persevere through any obstacle that stands in her way. Plus you add a touch of tenacity, with a splash of wit that is only comparable to the true grit of those cowgirls before her, and the business sense of Trump minus the big t.v. show, and you have a true Siren. Not to mention throw in the love of fashion, a boot addiction and the ability to spot the next up and coming trends and you are met with a true triple threat in the retail world. She is not a one trick pony either! On top of her successful store in the little mountain town of Red Lodge she is also very well known in the Rodeo World, a published writer, and one of the most generous people you will ever know!
Miss Amber well to be clear this girl is probably like no one you have ever met, nor will you ever meet one like her again! She is a fly by the seat of her pants go getter with the uncandid ability to dress you, give you fashion advice, and send you out of the store feeling like a million! She has made the store her passion and the girl's in it are often treated just like one of her babies. She is a working single mother of four great little ones, and if not working she is leading Girl Scouts, baking, cooking, and feeding her addiction of great high heels. To say she is a multi tasker is an understatement if she isn't updating the store's website, working on the blog, or face book, you are bound to see her trying out new fun way's to display clothes in the store's front windows! She loves with all her heart, and wears that heart of hers on her sleeve.
All in all to be a Siren is to be a hardworking, dedicated, fashion addicted, fun loving girl, and add a bit of crazy to that and a pinch of rebellion and you have it! Both of us are from different walks of life, but when put together we bring out the best in each other and this truly could be the reason for our success. We agree that by the Grace of God we will Persevere even in this crazy little world!

Market Madness!!
So as you all know I was the Queen of market from Friday thru Sunday in Billings this weekend. Now when this kind of event takes place one must realize the work that you have to put into this kind of event!
On Thursday Miss Ryan and I trekked up to Billings with her car packed like a Mexican burrito! You see the key to selling is to offer EVERYTHING you can think of that will reach out and scream Buy Me to all of those that are passing by. It is also important to make your booth look Awesome and that is were I came in. I decorated with lights and all of our Double D, Tasha Polizzi, and jewelry, jewelry, jewelry!!!! Not to mention I believe I displayed more hand painted shoes than people have ever seen in one setting:) Of course Twitch couldn't be there do to the fact that he had to be home to protect the homestead. It was a great display , and the traffic was well pretty steady. But the thing about one of these lil shindigs is that you are busy and then you are sitting. For those of you that know me know that the whole sitting thing is not my forte'. I am a mover and a shaker and well it was probably comparable to asking a kid hopped up on Pixie sticks to sit still!
In order to pass the time I would re arrange, text EVERYONE I knew that was coming to or lived in Billing's to come check us out and stop to say hi. I like to refer to the texting technique as mass marketing and it worked pretty well. I also like to show and display that even if it wasn't in their size that I could and would get it in their size and ship it to them.
In all besides me feeling like the walls of the Metra were closing in on me come the last few hour's of each day I believe that the store made a major impression on not only those that came to shop, but also to the other vendors. You see I am shameless as Garth Brooks sang about, when it comes to promoting the store. I handed out business cards like they were bags of crack in the ghetto! I promoted the fact that we were not only on line with our site but also on Face book, Twitter, and Blog spot!
I pulled up our blog to display for those that were interested in seeing what the world of retail is really like. Because Hello??? Who doesn't like the idea of a cute little black puppy being the mascot of a female owned and run store? To say the least our feedback was stellar! I made a lot of connections, and even the sales that didn't happen those customer's were well informed on how they could get great deals, entertainment, as well as wonderful service :) Plus ladies if you are working retail remember to give yourself a signature piece that only you can sport to bring people in. My signature is my high heels! I sported everything from snake skin, to buckles and metallic colors! These heels caught eye's and even drew people over to the booth! Its a great lesson wear what looks great and makes a statement!
Now while I was away Twitch had to take care of Ryan. You see she has a terrible cold! He had to make sure she took her medicine, and was able to take care of the store as well. In true Twitch form he did this with grace and even made some improvements to the store while I was away. When he finally had to make our dear Ryan take a break so she could get better he handed the torch over to Jo Jo our newest Siren Christine's puppy to take over.
Christine like a true Siren went straight to work to re arrange the store. This is her calling and she is the BEST at arranging even the smallest amount of merchandise , making it look better than a Coach bag on sale! The store was stunning when I returned from market and it was a real relief to know that when I am away and Miss Ryan is dying from the worst cold of the century the store is going to look awesome, and was so clean I almost cried!
We did some great business at market, and I learned that there is still nothing funner to me than selling great item's to those that will love them like we do! (except maybe shopping for shoes :)
